In this video I wanted to create a vivid blue cave beyond two high impact lava rock arches, creating loads of depth and an awesome environment for my chilli rasbora to explore. I talk you through the entire two month build process from start to finish, with a few tweaks and changes along the way. You'll see how I glued the lava rock together to form the arch, and find out why I chose the aquarium plants from k2aqua that I did. Plus you get to see my beautiful Pygmy Corydoras and Chilli Rasboras enjoying the tank. In this video we cleaned all of our aquarium lava rock. We decided to clean our lava as it was cause the aquarium water to smell horrible. We had to do water changes very often and our water would get discoloured very soon after the water change. We discovered that the smell was coming from our lava rock as the fish food would get stuck in the small little holes in the rock. What we used to clean these rocks is hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, and hot water... and we can't forget... A LOT OF SCRUBBING!!! Once we cleaned these rocks we noticed that the lava rocks didn't smell as strong. It was been over a week since filming this video and the water is still clear as day! This tank was done in 2015 and always loved these unique red-coloured lava rocks. The tank is standard 2ft and used Aqualights 3 led lights. At that time we were importing these lights and loved their quality. This aquascape I never trimmed heavily and kept a bit wild look which was different from other scapes. My daughter loved this tank with 2 Rosy Barbs. A perfect example of a little tank that can be created for kids. Thanks for watching the video. Jag

This video shows you how to make an aquascape waterfall in stages: covering a pipeline with Lava Rock. Subscribe: 🤍 You can see how to make an underwater waterfall about making this pipeline system in the previous video at 🤍 and how to glue stones using super glue you can see in this video 🤍 Actually what you see as a waterfall is white silica sand that is pushed from the bottom up by a submesible powerhead continuously.
