While I'm a big fan of the engineers at SpaceX, Elon has now said and amplified one too many stupid, vile, and dangerous things supporting stupid, vile, and dangerous people with their stupid, vile, and dangerous ideologies to want to hear about these accomplishments. I am turning my attention elsewhere and recommend others do the same. Makin' cool rockets is no cover for throwing gas on the tinderbox of the current state of the world.

Why does Rocket Lab ( a NZ company) require FAA clearance to launch from NZ? Seems like quite a bit of overreach by a US agency. Nothing to do with safety of US citizens or assets. What is going on?
I believe SpaceX will attain near orbital goal and hopefully put the recertification delay issues behind them, so they can get back on track to rapidly develop the SpaceX systems for docking, crew transfer, fuel transfer and lunar HLS.

C'mon, your headline is misleading! FAA is still delaying Spacex approval. This is inexcusable delay of several months. FAA must do better and to not get involved in politics. How did FAA approve ULA Centaur rocket launch back in July '23 for a maiden launch Dec'23 ?
